The jokes aren't a match for Pixar's best, and there's too much sentimentality (as if Lasseter were determined to keep Disney's cartoons just that little bit less cool than Pixar's), but this is still an above-average children's film.

Bolt is one of the rare modern Disney films where everything truly comes together. Even with a simpler concept and a distractingly rough first joke, the film quickly pulls itself together to deliver a heartfelt and worthy viewing experience.

It features numerous memorable moments and animated sequences that ensure its place in the legacy of Disney classics.I wholeheartedly recommend "Bolt" to families, as it’s a film that everyone should experience.
